DESCRIPTION:The Plain Local Schools Foundation & Alumni Association is pleased to present the 2022 all-school ballet\, “Beauty and The Beast\,” choreographed and directed\, by Mrs. Jacquenette Blaydes. Plain Local dance and Saturday Enrichment students\, ages three years through 12th grade\, will perform an original choreographed performance featuring the story of Beauty and The Beast on November 18th and 19th. \nThere will be a 10:00am performance on Nov. 18th for all Plain Local 3rd grade students as part of the arts experiences offered to all elementary students within Plain Local. \nPublic performances will be Friday\, November 18th at 7:00pm and Saturday\, November 19th at 1:00pm\, 4:00pm\, and 7:00pm in the GlenOak High School Theater on the Abbey Foltz Stage. \nBalcony seats are $8.00\, upper and lower orchestra seats are $10.00 and balcony box seats are $14.00. \nClick here to purchase your tickets! \n*New this year!* This year we have partnered with a local florist company and our horticulture program at GlenOak to give families options for flowers. DESCRIPTION:The Plain Local Schools Foundation & Alumni Association is pleased to present the 2024 all-school ballet\, “Cinderella with a Twist\,” choreographed and directed\, by Mrs. Jacquenette Blaydes. Plain Local dance and Saturday Enrichment students\, ages three years through 12th grade\, will perform an original choreographed performance featuring the story of Cinderella on November 22nd and 23rd. \nPublic performances will be Friday\, November 22nd at 10:00am (balcony seats only) and 7:00pm and Saturday\, November 23rd at 4:30pm\, and 7:00pm in the GlenOak High School Theater on the Abbey Foltz Stage. \nBalcony seats are $12.00\, upper and lower orchestra seats are $15.00 and balcony box seats are $18.00. \nTickets available here: https://www.locallevelevents.com/events/details/36457 \nFor any questions\, please email us at foundation@plainlocal.org.

Glenoakclassof85@gmail.com \nThe GlenOak Class of 1985 40th reunion is Saturday\, August 23rd at the beautifully restored National City Bank building (now Mills Historic Tower) in downtown Canton. \n  \nJoin our classmates for a fun evening of catching up\, reminiscing\, drinking and dancing. \nThis will be a casual\, open-style event featuring heavy appetizers\, a cash bar and music provided by Get Down Sound. Doors open 7pm till 11pm. \nTo kick things off\, join us at 8pm to take in the scenic views of downtown from the 14th floor patio of the former\, private\, Canton Club. Laura Mills was very gracious to open this space from her law office and host our class. Drinks and cigars are welcome! \nAs part of our event\, make time to enjoy a craft cocktail at The Canton Club Vault. A relaxed\, prohibition-style\, speakeasy located on the lower level\, inside the original 1922 Diebold bank vault. \nTicket prices are $40.00 per person\, or $75.00 per couple to cover our food\, DJ and venue expenses.
